Lift passes can be purchased online or in town, with options ranging from single-day tickets to full-area access connecting Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo and Folgarida–Marilleva. Ski schools cater to all abilities, and slope maps are widely available to help plan each day on the mountain.

OTHER WINTER ACTIVITIES

Cross-Country Skiing

Glide across scenic tracks with sweeping views of the valley, perfect for both beginners and seasoned skiers.

The main centre for this is Campo Carlo Magno, which offers 22 km of trails across four loops ranging from very easy to black, catering to every skill level. Further south, the area near Carisolo provides a 5 km loop with artificial snow, including a 1.5 km section with night lighting, and access is free of charge. Find more information on trails here.

Snowshoeing & Winter Walks

Wander through silent forests and along gentle mountain trails that reveal the softer, slower side of the Dolomites.

The Adamello Brenta Nature Park offers routes for varying levels of ability, with specific areas like Valled del Chiese, which provides a spectacular view between Camp Antich and Cima Pissola, and the wilder landscapes of Giudicarie Centrali, including the Val di Breguzzo. Rifugio Malga Ritorto

This mountain cabin restaurant offers the most spectacular views of the dolomites. “Rifugio” literally translated means “shelter” and refers to the cabins spread through the mountainous regions of Italy, offering weary trekkers a place to rest their heads and replenish themselves after a long day of hiking.

Rifugio Lago Nambino

Built on the Nambino Lake, this typical Trentino rifugio has a beautiful restaurant offering local dishes. Accessible by foot from the Patascoss parking lot. Enjoy a calming 30 minute walk through the forest before arriving to the gorgeous Alpine lake.

Rifugio Cascata di Mezzo

Località Pancugolo, 38086 Madonna di Campiglio TN

Baita Natalia, better known by it’s local name “la casa sul monte” which translated means “the home on the mountain”. It is a family-owned establishment now run by the couple Martina and Augusto. This historic establishment is named after Martina’s mother Natalia, who ran the rifugio for 30 years.

Rifugio Vallesinella

Loc, Via Vallesinella, 38095 Tre Ville TN

Accessible by foot, or by car from the Madonna di Campiglio town center. This rifugio is built in the forest within a stones throw from the Cascata di Mezzo waterfall. Enjoy a meal here complimented by the calming sounds of the cascading water.
